Dentures in Denver, CO

If you are missing several or all of your teeth, dentures provide a proven and effective way to restore your smile.  Your dentures are custom-made for a secure fit, natural appearance, and improved comfort so you can eat, speak, and smile with confidence. We offer two types of dentures

Traditional Dentures

Traditional dentures are removable appliances designed to replace missing teeth and restore your smile. They fit comfortably over your gums to improve your ability to eat and speak. While they are more affordable, they may require adhesives for stability and periodic adjustments over time.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Implant-supported dentures are secured to dental implants, providing a stable, long-lasting solution for missing teeth. Unlike removable options, they won’t shift or slip while eating or speaking, offering improved comfort and confidence. They also help preserve jawbone health by stimulating the bone, much like natural tooth roots.

Implant-Supported Denture Process

We offer a streamlined, start-to-finish process for implant-supported dentures, all completed in house.

Consultation: We begin with a thorough consultation to evaluate your oral health, discuss your goals, and determine whether implant-supported dentures are the right solution for you.

Digital Planning: Next, we use advanced digital planning technology to map out your treatment with precision and create a personalized plan for your smile.

Surgery: Once your plan is finalized, we perform the implant placement procedure in house. For full-arch cases such as All-on-4, any remaining teeth can often be removed and implants placed during the same appointment under IV sedation.

Temporary Teeth: In many full-arch cases, a fixed temporary prosthesis can be delivered the same day or the following day, so you can leave with a functional, confident smile while healing.

Final Restoration: After your implants have healed and integrated with the jawbone, we complete your treatment with a custom final restoration designed for long-term comfort, function, and aesthetics.

We also offer implant-retained overdentures, sometimes called snap-in or clip-in dentures, especially for the lower arch. These dentures remain removable, but attach securely to implants for improved stability and comfort.

Next Steps

After receiving implant-supported dentures, proper care and follow-up are essential to ensure long-term success and comfort.

Follow Post-Procedure Instructions: Carefully follow all aftercare guidelines provided by your dentist, including any recommendations for diet, medications, and oral hygiene during the healing period.

Maintain Excellent Oral Hygiene: Keep your implants and dentures clean by brushing daily and using any recommended tools, such as floss, water flossers, or special implant cleaning aids, to prevent plaque buildup.

Attend Follow-Up Visits: Regular checkups allow your dentist to monitor healing, ensure your implants are integrating properly, and make any necessary adjustments to your dentures.

Stick to a Soft Diet Initially: In the early stages, eating softer foods can help protect your implants as they heal. You can gradually return to a normal diet as advised by your dentist.

Watch for Changes or Discomfort: If you notice any unusual pain, swelling, or looseness, contact our office promptly so we can address the issue early.

Long-Term Maintenance: Even though implants are durable, routine professional cleanings and exams are key to keeping your smile healthy and your dentures functioning at their best for years to come.
